Hello, my name is Ashley.
I'm the founder of Sweet Bee.

Our goal is to provide consumers with 100% NATURAL ingredients in our handcrafted creations, while also supporting other Canadian businesses and being environmentally conscientious.

 

How did Sweet Bee's story start?

I have sensitive skin and am extremely particular about the items I use on it. Not just because of my skin sensitivity and discomfort, but also since your skin is your body's largest organ. I wanted to do my best to take care of it, but I was hesitant to purchase so many various skincare products. Why? So many businesses have claimed to sell "NATURAL" items. However, when I investigated the ingredients, I determined that they were not. There were several additions, fillers, perfumes, scents, and chemicals in them.

I was quite dissatisfied whereas all I intended to do was enjoy a bath bomb or apply face oil without fretting about what type of damage the various chemicals may be doing to my skin. As a result, I set out to create my own.

 

I started manufacturing various products for myself, my family, and friends and discovered that I actually enjoyed not just making them for myself but also assisting others by developing products they could truly trust.

Being a down-to-earth compassionate individual who hopes to establish a positive impact on the planet, economy, and consumers by delivering items that invigorate, support, and heal the body rather than harm it. Having said that, I try to buy items and packaging made in Canada. I utilise environmentally friendly, biodegradable, and recyclable packaging. I try to use as little plastic as possible and am thrilled to give $1 from every $25 bought to help bolster bees and other pollinators in Canada!
